I was born in Willcox in 1967. Willcox elementary is where I started my schooling. After moving to Tucson in 1979, I continued my education until 1991 when I graduated from the University of Arizona. I moved back to my family farm in Willcox and married Cathy Moser that same year. Over the next 32 years, we raised five children in Willcox, while I farmed and did construction work in the area.

I have served as a board member and chairman of trustees of Willcox United Methodist Church. Currently I am president of the board of Cochise County farmers association and a member of the board of directors of Cochise County Farm Bureau. I continue to farm my family farm and do custom farm work in the Sulphur Springs Valley.
